Cheow Lan Lake (Cheow Lan Lake) is a vast man-made lake and the main attraction of Khao Sok National Park in Surat Thani Province.
Cheow Lan is considered one of the cleanest bodies of water in Asia.
The lake is surrounded by karst mountains and almost impenetrable jungles.
There are no familiar hotels, restaurants, or shops on the lake’s shore.

When visiting temples, a donation-based entry fee (20–50 baht) is paid additionally. In case tourists are inappropriately dressed (bare shoulders, knees), clothing is provided by the temple also for an additional fee. To rent a canoe (if you wish to paddle on Cheow Lan Lake), a refundable deposit for the paddle of 500 baht is required, or a rental fee of 200 baht (depends on the operator).
