The James Bond Islands (Ko Tapu) are a small limestone islet in Phang Nga Bay northeast of Phuket. It can be considered the starting point for the tourism boom that transformed the tin mining island of Phuket into one of the most attractive destinations in the world.
Krabi is a province on the southwest coast of Thailand, famous for its sheer limestone cliffs, dense mangrove forests, and numerous offshore islands.
The most famous beach destinations in the province are the tropically forested Phi Phi Islands, which resemble giant boulders jutting out of the sea, and Railay Beach, popular with rock climbers and accessible only by boat.
